About the Project
The Myth of Disability promotes the study of various subjects in humanities from the point of view of disability studies.
The project was begun as part of Alexandra's Laidlaw Scholarship, and includes her research into the myths about disability in ancient Greece and Rome, as well as other resources.

Alexandra is a Comparative Literature student at University College London, specialising in Latin language and literature, and the main researcher behind this project.
Dr Makrinos is a Senior Teaching Fellow in Classics at University College London, specialising in Homeric studies, and the academic supervisor for this project.
